Updating gridview programatically

Hi All, I have a situation where I read a string format from a resource file.

I would like this format to be used to format a Bound Column in the datagrid I'm displaying.

This example shows how to edit and update records in a Grid View in ASP. This example is helpful in situations where an administrator needs to edit several records from the database.

You can see most of the articles and tutorials in many websites teach you the way to bind a Grid View control to the database with some Data Source controls such as SQLData Source, Object Data Source, Access Data Source and even XMLDatasource.

I tend to use business objects in my applications so using the standard data controls doesn't work very well, nor would it really buy much in terms of abstraction.

In my code I tend to write the databinding logic as part of the page logic which usually is just a couple of lines of code.

It only destroys fragments’s view hierarchy and keeps its state internally.

To overcome this shortcoming we have Fragment State Pager Adapter which we are going to discuss here.

Introduced alongside Kit Kat and enhanced with the Lollipop release of the v4 Android support library, a working implementation of the Swipe to Refresh UI pattern is included, called Swipe Refresh Layout. For your reference, the project we’ll build is available for download on Git Hub here.
